​​An’ı serisinin temel ürünü olarak eski fotoğrafları kullanıyorum. Bu fotoğraflardaki öğeleri farklı materyallerle resmediyor, bazen de çalışma üzerinde fotoğrafın kendisinden kesitler bırakıp bir kolaja dönüştürerek görsel ve duygusal olarak parçalanmalarını sağlıyorum.

Amacım; unutulmuş fotoğrafların an’ı hapsetme özelliğini yıkarak görselleri zamansızlaştırmak. Şimdi ve geçmiş arasındaki bağı zedeleyerek izleyiciyi zaman algımızı yeniden düşünmeye teşvik etmek istiyorum.

In the Moment to Memory series, I use old photographs as the primary material of the work. I recreate the elements within these photographs using different mediums, and at times transform the image into a collage by leaving fragments of the original photograph visible on the surface, allowing it to become visually and emotionally fragmented.

My aim is to break the photograph’s ability to imprison a moment and render these images timeless. By destabilizing the connection between past and present, I hope to encourage the viewer to reconsider our perception of time.
