An ongoing series of 10 paper-based collages

2019 yılından beri üzerinde çalıştığım Ephemera serisi; unutulmuş anonim fotoğraflar ile unutulmasından korktuğum aile fotoğraflarını bir araya getirerek oluşturduğum bir görsel hafıza çalışmasıdır. Bu eserler, hayat akışı içinde çoğumuzun zorunlu olarak karşılaştığı ama çoğu zaman önemsemeyip geçip gittiği durumlar ve duygular üzerine düşünmeye davet eder. İzleyiciyle, yaşamın küçük ama anlamlı detaylarında ortak bir yüzleşme alanı yaratmayı amaçlar.
The Ephemera series, which I have been developing since 2019, is a visual memory project composed of forgotten anonymous photographs and family photos I fear may one day be forgotten. These works focus on the situations and emotions we are all inevitably confronted with in the flow of life—often overlooked or passed by without notice. The series invites viewers to reflect and connect through these subtle yet meaningful details of everyday existence.
