"Yalnızlık Serisi"nde, Türkçeye "yalnızlık" olarak çevrilen "lonelyness" terimi incelenmektedir.

Bu eserlerimde, felsefe ve görsel sanatları bir araya getirmeyi amaçladım.

 

Bu serinin temelinde, Aristoteles, Rousseau, John Locke ve Hobbes'un okumalarından ilham aldım.

"Lonelyness" terimi duygusal bir yalnızlığı ifade ederken, Türkçede bu yalnızlık sadece fiziksel olarak yalnız kalmak olarak algılanmaktadır. Bu nedenle, duygusal yalnızlık temasının derinliklerine inmek için, bu terimin uyandırdığı duyguları görsel olarak ifade etmeyi seçtim.

 

Eserlerimde, günümüz toplum yapısının bu temeller üzerine kurulu olduğu fikrinden yola çıkıyorum. Henüz kendini gerçekleştirmemiş bireyleri bir topluluk oluşturmaya zorlamaktan doğan aidiyet duygusunun incitici ve izole edici yönünü açığa çıkarıyorum. "Birey" olmadan önce "çoğulluk" içinde var olmaya çalışan bireylerin hislerini dile getiriyor, günümüz toplumundaki "topluma güven" ve "topluma ait olma" sorunlarına eleştirel bir bakış sunuyorum.

In the loneliness Series, the term "lonelyness," which has been translated into Turkish as "yalnızlık," is being examined.

I aimed to combine philosophy and visual arts in my works. At the core of this series, I drew inspiration from readings of Aristotle, Rousseau, John Locke, and Hobbes.

 

While the term "lonelyness" implies emotional solitude, in Turkish, this loneliness is only perceived as being physically alone. Therefore, to delve into the depths of the theme of emotional loneliness, I chose to visually express the emotions evoked by this term.

​In my works, I start from the idea that today's societal structure is built upon these foundations. I bring to light the hurtful, isolating aspect of the sense of belonging that arises from forcing individuals who have not yet realized themselves to create a community. I express the feelings of individuals who are trying to exist within the "plurality" before becoming "one," and I offer a critique of today's issues concerning "trust in society" and "belonging to society."
