«Bu Sabah Neden Uyandın?» saatler ve grafik baskıdan oluşan 5 parçalık bir enstalasyon çalışması.

Geleceğe direnen şeyin ne olabileceğini; kişinin, sabah uyanıp var olmaya devam etmeye ihtiyaç duyması üzerinden incelerken, tüm insanlar için ortak bir soru soruyorum: “Bu sabah neden uyandın?” 

“Bir bekleyen”i, zamanla kaybeden kişi, bir sabah uyanır ve neden yataktan kalkması gerektiğini sorar..:

“Uyandım.”

​

 

Ardından yapay zekanın da insanın bu temel ihtiyacı anlayıp cevap verebileceği düşüncesiyle aynı soruyu, kendini insan yerine koymasını isteyerek yapay zekaya soruyor ve verdiği cevapları listeliyorum.

Enstalasyon; zaman ve kişinin her sabah istemsizce karşılaştığı anlam arayışına dair cümleler aracılığı ile insanın var olma çabasının gelecekte de değişmeyecek tek gerçek olduğunu merkeze alıyor. Öyle ki; geleceği inşa edeceğine inandığımız ve hayatlarımıza yeni giren yapay zeka bile var olmanın evrensel değerine cevap verebiliyor.

“Why Did You Wake Up This Morning?” is a 5-piece installation work consisting of clocks and graphic prints.

​

While exploring what might resist the future through the individual's need to wake up in the morning and continue to exist, I ask a universal question for all people: “Why did you wake up this morning?” “A person who loses to time,” wakes up one morning and asks why they need to get out of bed:

​

“I woke up.”

​

Then, with the thought that artificial intelligence could understand and respond to this basic human need, I ask the same question to AI, requesting it to place itself in the position of a human, and I list the answers it gives.

​

The installation centers on the sentences about time and the individual's involuntary daily search for meaning, emphasizing that the human struggle to exist will be the only unchanging truth in the future. So much so that even artificial intelligence, which we believe will shape the future and has recently entered our lives, can respond to the universal value of existence.
